Introducing Formsy®: Take Your Business Forms Digital

Formsy: Digital Forms

For over 20 years, NCR Pads has helped businesses keep their paperwork organised with custom printed NCR pads, books and sets. From delivery notes and invoices to job sheets and accident reports, these forms play an important part in everyday work.

Paper continues to be a practical choice for many businesses. But if you would like to complete your forms electronically, we now have another option.

Introducing Formsy®, our digital forms service, bringing the paperwork you already know to your phone, tablet or computer.

What is Formsy?

Formsy lets you complete, save and send business forms through your web browser. Instead of writing on a printed form, you enter the details on your device and keep an electronic record.

The idea is straightforward: take the information your business needs to collect and make it easier to manage digitally.

You might be recording work carried out at a customer’s premises, confirming a delivery or completing a daily vehicle check. With Formsy, you can fill in the relevant form on screen and produce a PDF to share or keep for your records.

Use the forms your business already knows

Moving to digital forms does not have to mean starting again with your paperwork.

If you already use a printed form, you can send it to Formsy as the starting point for your digital version. Your form can be set up with the fields your business needs, along with your company branding.

This helps keep the process familiar for your team while changing how the information is recorded and stored.

Examples include:

  • Job sheets – record customer details, work completed, materials used and customer sign-off.
  • Delivery notes – capture delivery information and signatures.
  • Waste transfer notes – record the details of waste transfers.
  • Accident reports – document incidents and the action taken.
  • Vehicle checks – complete inspections and record any defects.
  • Service reports and checklists – keep a consistent record of routine work.

Whether you run a trade business, manage deliveries or look after a school or nursery, the starting point is the same: a form designed around the information you need.

Fill. Save. Send.

Formsy is designed to make completing and handling forms straightforward.

Open your form on a phone, tablet or computer, enter the details, and capture signatures or add photographs where your form requires them. Once completed, the record can be saved and sent by email as a PDF.

Saved records also make it easier to find previous forms when you need to check a job, answer a customer query or review earlier information.

For example, an engineer could complete a service report at a customer’s premises, add photographs and collect a signature on screen. The completed report can then be emailed without taking a paper copy back to the office to scan.

The current browser version requires an internet connection, so connectivity is something to consider when deciding where to use it.

Send copies to everyone who needs them

With NCR paperwork, different copies often go to different people: one for the customer, one for the office and another for accounts.

Formsy brings that same approach to digital forms. At the click of a button, you can email a PDF copy of the completed form to multiple departments and the customer, so everyone who needs a copy receives one.

For example, a completed job sheet could be sent to the customer for their records, the office to confirm the work is finished and accounts to arrange invoicing.

Should you choose paper or digital?

The right choice depends on how your business works.

NCR pads and books are useful when you want to hand over a physical copy immediately, work without an internet connection or keep a simple paper-based process.

Digital forms can help when you want to share completed paperwork electronically, include photographs and find records without searching through folders.

You can also use both. A business might keep NCR delivery notes for certain customers while using digital job sheets for its engineers. You do not need to change every process at once.
