A: Continuous NCR (No Carbon Required) forms are multi-part carbonless forms designed for use with dot matrix printers. Supplied on a continuous fan-fold with sprocket holes on each side, they allow high volume printing of duplicate or triplicate documents such as invoices, delivery notes, picking lists and order forms. Each sheet transfers information cleanly through the NCR layers, ensuring accurate copies without the mess of carbon paper.
A: A single-part continuous form is a continuous feed paper form designed for use in dot matrix printers that consists of one sheet only, rather than multiple NCR (carbonless) copies. Unlike multi-part NCR forms, a single-part form does not produce duplicate or triplicate copies when printed. These forms are supplied on a continuous fan-fold with sprocket holes on each side, allowing them to feed smoothly through continuous stationery printers. Once printed, the forms can be easily separated using standard or micro perforations.
